Overview

Light Pharma and its key personnel have played an active and pioneering role in helping prepare the pharmaceutical and biotech industry for the 21st Century. Research done by Dr. G. K. Raju and others as part of the MIT Program of the Pharmaceutical Industry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology provided key insights and justification for the launch of the FDA’s 21st Century Quality Initiative. Light Pharma has performed Quality Management Maturity assessments across industry and government organizations over the last two decades. Light Pharma has had its own operations assessed for quality maturity and is one of the earlier small organizations in the world to be assessed at the highest possible level of Maturity Level 5. It has again been assessed to be at this highest possible level of Maturity Level 5 multiple times including mostly recently in August 2024.
